Staten Island Boat Graveyard- The Outpost is a natural infrastructure design proposal for a currently underutilized space within the Staten Island community of Rossville. The project seeks to develop wetland restoration and oyster reef restoration along the waterfront to help develop an ecological corridor between adjacent parks; Freshkills Park and Clay Pitt Ponds State Park Preserve.

Part of this design proposal is to develop on the site an improved recycling and materials recovery facility and artistic space for future community development.

This proposal was the final project for the course "Environmental Infrastructure Development" under Professor Carter Strickland in collaboration with other students within the Sustainability Management program.
